“Every new beginning comes from some other beginning’s end.”

The lunar cycle has really become a pattern with my blog posts although I feel grateful for the times in between when I feel the nudge to write. Today is a new moon peaking at 15:32:14 EDT.
I ended fear and started a new beginning in my last blog post on 7 October where I closed with inspiration from Brave by Sara Bareilles, and I received an answer to an earlier part of the lyrics:
“But I wonder what would happen if you say what you wanna say and let the words fall out?”
Brave by Sara Bareilles
- I have received (manifested) several of my intentions I set on the 1 October full moon and 17 September new moon. I feel so much gratitude to Jaclyn Johnston for making time for our conversations. She has been the most wonderfully influential and supportive connection, especially with this: “Taking action shows the Universe who is boss. Actions are strong vibes of energy.” Another thing I appreciate about Jaclyn is her willingness to openly and vulnerably share her reality because of the support her story gives to others who may be silently going through something similar.
- I have been receiving a flow of support, encouragement, kindness, new subscribers/followers, and feedback. I welcome criticism because I use it constructively to improve and grow, and in some cases affirm for myself that “I am enough. I am worthy. I deserve to receive back what I give to others.” I have been the cheerleader and support for others, so speaking up further opened the portal for me to receive. I have received tips in my tip jar even after a comment on the last blog post asked if I really believed that people would make any contributions. And yes, I believe it because I do it for other creative people.
I almost went off track… almost put the cart before the horse as the saying goes… but the Universe gave me a shove on 10 October. Y’know, 10-10-2020 or “Portal Day”. I thought I needed to get going with a coaching aspect of being-all-zen-and-shit, but while I was at the cemetery with Chief Daddy, I met The Chapman Family whose loved one (along with my dear Dr. Iris Chapman who isn’t kin) inspired a blog post, I Am a Storyteller. I took the risk of sounding like a weirdo and spoke to the family about my post, and this is the beginning of the story how I connected with, Christine Turner Jackson, author of Pitch Black. She deserves a blog post all her own.
Another new connection two days later is Greg Armamentos, an author and blogger. Of all places to “run into each other” it was TikTok! His profile for @affablegreg reads: “Chicago-area dad. Teacher. Writer. Marathoner. Spreading positivity.” And now we follow each other’s blogs and support each other’s creativity and willingness to shine authentically and help others. When Greg shared his link, dashthebook.wordpress.com I immediately/intuitively knew he wrote about “the dash” which is everything between your birth and death dates.
I feel very grateful to be acquainted with published authors, timed with when I needed the push back to being a storyteller. And in even more stories about timing and receiving support, I have found TikTok and Instagram are great tools for shining my light and sharing when a blog post would take longer than if I post a pic or video.
EDIT: While allowing this post to arrive, I shared a shorter piece on Instagram for Warrior Woman Wednesday.
I posted my first TikTok video on Talk Like a Pirate Day. At the moment it has 222 views. ๐ Angel number 222 That was 19 September, and at the time I had only a single-digit number of followers, but as of this post, I have 893 followers. And I feel grateful not only for the followers but also for finding a great community of people who also shine by sharing their humor, music, and positivity. Why do the numbers matter? Because it signifies the potential to make that many others laugh or smile from what I create. Even when someone is in disbelief about my content, if they share it, especially my blog posts, their action increases my audience and my site traffic. ๐
All that said, it’s time for me to wind up this post and finish my new moon intentions. May you find your own “bravery” and feel supported to shine your authentic light and use your voice.

Numbers, and moon phases, and as always, positivity. That’s why I am your Storyreader, peace hippie, lightworker (retired), sacred surfer, and of course muse leader. Yes I am.

๐ And you are one of the biggest influences on me feeling able to share whatever I create! There is no good or bad; it is what it is and what will be will be. ๐ Thank you
