I haven’t painted in a long time, but this is one of my favorite tiny canvases that I painted years ago.

Two months have passed since my last post, No Other Way, but I have not lacked topics for blog posts. I actually started this post more than a month ago, but I just couldn’t get focused enough, then I let time get away from me, and I’m okay with that because I believe in my heart that even when something doesn’t happen in the timeline I’ve planned, it’s still “on time” with a divinely-timed plan.

Dear Mommy,

It’s still easier to write to you, especially because you’ve been on my mind a lot more – 23 December is almost here. Three years without your physical presence. Three years of grief changing shape and intensity. Three years of learning to recognize your presence. 333. 88. Hints in conversations with Dr. Pepper. You’re there.

Love never dies, and because you loved me, you will live forever.

I’ve already started reflecting on this year. The past eight months have been a new chapter, starting with that magical day in April (Magic Moments: The Princess of Spring). I believe in my heart that you’re doing what angels do. Thanks, Mommy!

Thanks for leading me home to my dreams that I forgot, that along the way I thought I didn’t deserve or thought I wasn’t enough. Even when we think we see the big picture, we’re still don’t see EVERYTHING. You knew I was meant to entertain, but we just didn’t have internet as a venue more than 30 years ago! I started growing my YouTube channel in April, and I’m getting so close to my goal of 500 subscribers by 31 December 2021. To me that’s 500 subscribers who I may reach and bring some light to their day… raise the vibration.

Thank you for guiding me to where I was always going but I lacked patience and support from people aligned with my life’s mission and purpose… I feel it coming together. Magic and miracles. Manifestations. Music and love. Love, hope, and healing.

I know no other way but to be the light and be the love. I have the deepest humility in feeling grateful that I am able to in some way brighten someone else’s day. Using music and humor comes naturally for me, and I feel grateful to everyone who makes time to watch a video, leave a comment, and let me know how I made a positive difference in their day. I feel grateful that people tell me they look forward to my posts.

I’ve been cognizant of my path for years, but I was pretty clueless of my mission and purpose. Without knowing what they were, I definitely had no idea about what I’d be doing to fulfill them! Practicing daily gratitude has been key in retraining my mindset, along with allowing instead of chasing. I’ve found the combination that works for me, which includes writing in journals and doing my part with taking action.

My Everything drifted into my life last year when I wasn’t looking; however in retrospect we both realize that his prayers were answered and my intentions manifested but it wasn’t obvious to us then. I feel grateful for how things grew quietly between us, starting with friendship. I count us blessed to have friendship and faith as our foundation.

I feel grateful for everyone who supported and encouraged me to keep shining through music when I didn’t see (or hear) what they saw in me. And I love that My Everything sings Firefall with his own modified lyrics, “You are the woman that I always dreamed of, I knew it from the start. I saw your SMILE and that’s the last I’ve seen of my heart.” …and now he gives me so much to smile about everyday.

We’re looking forward to and are already grateful for the music we’re writing together… and all of the love, hope, and healing that we bring to each other and the world.
