I like tacos. I like tiaras. I like Taco Tuesdays. I like to eat tacos while wearing my tiara.
I wear my tiara whenever I feel like it. I’ve been known to do household chores wearing my tiara…and a flannel shirt and camo pants.
Do they go together? Probably not by some standards. Do I care? Nope!
Taco Tuesdays. It’s nice to have a day to look forward to besides Fridays. We seem to wish our lives away by “living for Fridays”. Combining Taco Tuesdays with wearing my tiara became a highlight of my week. Hell, I’ve even done Tacos and Tiaras Thursdays because I wanted tacos on a Thursday. Why wait until Tuesday?
Tiaras. I admit it. I’m one of those people distracted by shiny things. Glitter, sparkles, rhinestones… but I never had a BeDazzler… go figure. My tiara used to sit in a cabinet, but I moved it to the basket of Beautycounter products in my bathroom. Why wait for a birthday or a special occasion to wear it?
“Your life is an occasion. Rise to it.”

I realized Tacos and Tiaras Tuesdays had become more than eating tacos and wearing a sparkly outward sign of my light. This was a set day of the week on which I was committed to putting aside anything causing me stress; dining with my daughter or any friend available to enjoy dinner together; being fully present, and letting my light shine.
Tacos and Tiaras Tuesdays is living intentionally to nourish myself with tacos GETTIN’ IN MAH BELLY, nourish my soul with companionship and conversation, and getting my shine on from the inside to the outside.
Eat tacos. Don’t eat tacos. Wear a tiara. Don’t wear a tiara. Just pick a day to live with intention, show up to your life, enjoy it, and shine.
